Ecclestone rescues marriage in Serbia

(GMM) Bernie Ecclestone rescued his ailing marriage with a post-Christmas visit to Belgrade, according to local media.

Slavica Ecclestone, in whose name much of the billionaire F1 chief executive's fortune is filed, last month formally confirmed their pending divorce.

But after the Swiss newspaper Blick revealed that Ecclestone, 78, spent Christmas Eve alone at their London marital home, Serbian media published photos of the couple together in Belgrade.

The reports said the Ecclestones are staying together in the capital city with friends in a private apartment.
