Hamilton waits for 5.6m euro luxury yacht

UPDATE This rumor is downgraded to 'false' today. Reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton has denied reports that he has bought a luxury yacht. London's Sun tabloid said work on the personalized 90 foot 'Sunseeker 90', at a reported cost of 5.6 million euros and colored silver and black like his McLaren, is currently taking place in Dorset (UK).

"Contrary to unreliable reports, Lewis Hamilton would like to confirm that he has not bought a super yacht," a statement on Friday read.

The reportedly 5.6 million euro 'Sunseeker 90' will eventually be transferred to Monaco, where the 23-year-old driver plans to moor the 90 foot boat.

The Sun published photos of the silver and black yacht, said to have been so colored to match his McLaren single seater.
