Allegiant has signed a multi-year agreement to become the official airline of NHRA.
The new partnership with Allegiant, which offers industry-low fares on an all-jet fleet, is effective immediately for the remainder of the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season and will continue for upcoming seasons, as well.
“We are very excited to have Allegiant as NHRA’s first official airline sponsor," said Brad Gerber, NHRA vice president and chief development officer. “It is always a thrill to introduce new partners to NHRA drag racing, and with 24 events all across the United States every year, it makes perfect sense to have Allegiant on board and to serve as the official airline of NHRA."
Allegiant sponsorship features a comprehensive marketing platform of benefits, including on-site presence at NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series events, in addition to broadcast, digital and social media. Founded in 1997, Allegiant has grown to more than 80 aircraft and 350 routes across the country, offering low fares, nonstop, all-jet service and premier travel partners for a complete travel experience with great value.
“We’re excited to partner with NHRA and connect with drag racing fans across the country," said Scott DeAngelo, Allegiant chief marketing officer. “We love that Allegiant’s nonstop, affordable flights make it possible for everyone to watch their favorite driver roar down the track in-person at raceways throughout the U.S."
