Portland IndyCar race |
After an exceptional return to Portland International Raceway (PIR) earlier this year, IndyCar racing comes back to the Pacific Northwest for the Grand Prix of Portland over Labor Day weekend, August 30-September 1, 2019.
The exclusive renewal window is now open for those who purchased 3-Day Grandstand seats for the 2018 event to keep or upgrade their location through Monday, December 10th ending at 6 p.m. PT. General public sales will begin on Thursday, December 13th at 10 a.m. PT. Ticket prices remain unchanged for the 2019 Grand Prix of Portland.
Those renewing their seats are able to secure the best vantage points at PIR before they go on sale to the public. When renewing, these fans also have first opportunity to enhance their event experience by purchasing parking, Pit Passes and RV Club spaces. These items are limited in quantity and are expected to sell out again.
Additionally, the first opportunity to enroll in the Champions Club, which offers unprecedented access and exclusive benefits for just $75 (only $25 with a Gold-level 3-Day Grandstand purchase), is open exclusively to those renewing 3-Day Grandstand seats during the renewal period. Enrollments are limited in number. Champions Club members receive a personalized event credential, a complimentary IndyCar Series paddock pass providing entrance into “the locker room of motorsports", access to the pre-race grid walk on pit lane, signing of a commemorative flag, an opportunity to win a two-seater Indy car ride on the track, at event partner offers, and other onsite experiences to be announced.
"The Grand Prix of Portland got off to a fantastic start in our relaunch of this event. What an awesome show of support by our spectators, partners and the City of Portland," said Jerry Jensen, general manager of Grand Prix of Portland. “Now is the time for our most enthusiastic fans and festival-goers to secure their preferred location for the 2019 event. From what we learned this year, our Green Savoree Racing Promotions team is working closely with the dedicated staff at PIR to make additional event enhancements for an even bigger and better festival experience next year."
The Grand Prix of Portland will again be one of four events owned and operated by Green Savoree Racing Promotions on the IndyCar Series’ 17-event schedule in 2019. Offering a tremendous family value, tickets start at just $20. Children 12 and under receive free general admission to the event and complimentary access to the IndyCar Series paddock throughout the weekend when accompanied by a ticketed adult.
During this renewal period, ticket sales are open only to those who purchased 3-Day Grandstand seats for the 2018 event in order to renew or upgrade their location. Pricing starts at $85 for Bronze-level 3-Day Grandstand seating, $95 for Silver, and $165 for Gold which includes a Paddock Pass.
