Gander RV Signs On As New Title Sponsor Of Daytona Duels

Daytona Int'l Speedway has signed Gander RV to serve as title sponsor for the upcoming Duels at Daytona, the qualifying races that set the starting order for the Daytona 500. Terms were not released for the deal, which will be announced today and see Gander RV replace Can-Am.

Gander RV is a subsidiary of Camping World Holdings, an RV dealership chain. It is connected with Gander Outdoors, which becomes title sponsor this year of the NASCAR Truck Series. As part of the deal, Gander RV will start holding RV expo events at Daytona this year and also will hold a larger RV Rally event next year.

This deal completes the open naming-rights inventory DIS had to sell for the several races and events around Daytona Speedweeks whose prior partners did not renew. Adam Stern/SBD
