Yamamoto will be back in car for Japan

Hispania Racing driver Christian Klien has stressed that teammate Sakon Yamamoto will be returning to action in his home Grand Prix next time out, with the Austrian having replaced the Japanese at last weekend’s night race in Singapore.
HRT has race now raced all four of its drivers on at least one occasion this season although Klien is unsure whether he will be returning either this or next season. However, he does point out that enquires continue with a number of teams with regards to the 2011 campaign.
“(I will return) later on perhaps, I don’t know," he explained to F1Pulse.com.
“I cannot say that but for Japan it will definitely be Sakon in the car. Obviously, the performance (in Singapore) was pretty good. Maybe the team will make another decision towards the end of the season but I have no idea at the moment.
“We are checking the possibility with teams who have a seat left for next year. The whole weekend in the car helped to show (my performance) to get a better chance for next year to get a drive."
Christian also responded to the paddock rumor that Yamamoto had not been ill, as the team had indicated, but that driving funding was the prime reason for the switch:
“They had called me on Thursday night stating that he had food poisoning or whatever, so he didn’t feel well," Klien said. “So I got into the car. That’s all I know. I was pretty happy about that, so I concentrated on the race weekend. He was at the track on Saturday as he felt better."
