Automotive accessory manufacturer WeatherTech has added an additional 15-second spot, titled CupFone™, to its Super Bowl ad buy which includes a 45-second spot, SCOUT, for CBS' broadcast of Super Bowl 53, February 3, 2019, to be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.

Already in the big game with its 45-second SCOUT spot, WeatherTech has increased its commitment by adding a 15-second commercial that will feature its new CupFone cell phone holder. CupFone is a new product for WeatherTech that, in launch mode, has witnessed strong sales in its first 60 days of availability.

"We were offered some additional time on the Super Bowl broadcast late Friday afternoon," WeatherTech founder and CEO David MacNeil, said. "A lot of agility was shown by our agency Pinnacle to catch this Hail Mary pass and turn it into an opportunity to get one of our fast rising products, the CupFone, in front of over 100 million viewers of the game on Sunday. I couldn't pass it up."

CupFone is a mobile phone holder that sits conveniently in any vehicle's cup-holder, fits virtually all known current mobile phones, including those with normal sized protective cases. Fully adjustable tilt and rotation allows you to easily see your favorite app like Navigation or Waze when on the road. Makes hands-free voice commands easy to use along with hands free telephone calls. Allows you to leave your phone plugged in while it is in the holder and you can effortlessly, and with one hand, remove your phone from the holder or replace it without ever having to disconnect your charging cord.

The CupFone spot is scheduled to run during the fourth quarter of the game with SCOUT slated to run during the first quarter. More about CupFone here.
