Alfa Romeo Racing F1 team announces latest senior hire

Former broadcast journalist, Thomas Hofmann, joins Sauber Group as Head of Communications. With over 25 years in the world of international sport, 20 of which placed in and around Formula One, Austrian-born Hofmann brings a wealth of experience to reinforce Alfa Romeo Racing’s existing communications department, but also to strengthen awareness for the entities of the Group, Sauber Motorsport, Sauber Engineering and Sauber Aerodynamics.

With stints at the German F1 Host Broadcasters SKY and RTL, Red Bull F1, and recently Laureus World Sports Awards and personally working alongside some of sports most recognisable names, Hofmann has a passion for creative communications and unique brand activation. Aside from overseeing the team’s global media communications, a crucial part of his new role includes supporting Alfa Romeo Racing’s partners with brand activation to ensure they maximise on their association with the team and the sport.
