Future BMW styling hinted in radical concept car

BMW Vision ConnectedDrive

BMW will reveal a two-seat concept car called BMW Vision ConnectedDrive at the Geneva motor show that will launch a new styling language and driver information system for the German brand. This new language and information system will come out in 2013 on the production versions of the VisionED Sportscar and MegaCity EV.

The new concept is called the Vision ConnectedDrive and will feature new headlights and body surfacing. It will also have a shark-nose grille and the afore mentioned next generation driver information system that includes a new three-dimensional dashboard interface.

The styling of the Vision ConnectedDrive will feature round headlights and the traditional L-shaped rear lights. It will also have sliding doors, similar to those seen on the BMW Z1.

The three-dimensional display system is intended to replace conventional instrument clusters and will display information like road speed and sat-nav directions in three-dimensions.

This concept car should provide some very interesting ideas and we look forward to seeing them on production road cars in the future.
