Canadian pay-television broadcaster Sportsnet has expanded its coverage of the IndyCar motor-racing series to include all races and qualifying sessions on its OTT (Over The Top) streaming platform.

The coverage will be available via SN NOW’s top-tier Plus package from the start of the 2019 season, which begins this weekend in St. Petersburg, Florida.

All races, except for the season opener, will also be available in Canada via the Sportsnet World channel, with the Indianapolis 500 and the Indy Toronto event also set to be broadcast via the Sportsnet 360 and Sportsnet One channels.

The expanded agreement with Sportsnet was reached with IndyCar Media, the series’ in-house global rights distribution arm.

IndyCar Media also confirmed that OTT platform DAZN will show coverage of the 2019 season in Austria, Brazil, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
