IndyCar race could rain out

UPDATE #2 A light shower at lap 75 has caused the race to slow behind the pace car with Dario Franchitti, who had led all the way, out front.

08/14/11 The race has started and it looks like they may get it in so this rumor is downgraded to 'speculation.'

08/14/11 Today's IndyCar race on the 1-mile oval in Loudon, New Hampshire could rain out. The forecast calls for a 100% chance of rain showers at noon dropping to 30% at 2 PM and back up to 40% at the 4 PM race time. Monday's forecast is even worse, calling for a 70% chance of rain all day. Unlike road and street circuits, IndyCars do not have rain tires for oval tracks.
