Ticket sales up at Barber

According to AR1.com sources, ticket sales for the upcoming IndyCar race at Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama are way ahead of ticket sales from last year, and that they expect this event to keep growing steadily. We hear that corporate support and participation has increased as well.

Not bad for a "disastrous" economy as the media seems to have us believing. The automakers have record sales, the jewelry business is as much as 40% over the year prior, not to mention other retail goods that are non-essentials. The holiday retail season was a record breaker…and here in Alabama – certainly not a bustling growth center of the USA – an IndyCar race in the middle of NASCAR country is growing.
