Takuma Sato and his Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing Honda team unloaded fast on Friday, took pole on Saturday and then led most of the race to just hold off Scott Dixon's Ganassi Honda to win the Honda Grand Prix of Alabama at the Barber Motorsports Park in Birmingham.

Sebastien Bourdais was third for Dale Coyne Racing while Josef Newgarden and Alexander Rossi rounded out the top-5. Honda powered cars finished 1-2-3 and took 8 of the top-10 places.
