NASCAR’s reigning champion Joey Logano will be honored by President Donald J. Trump on the South Lawn at The White House in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday (April 30) to commemorate Logano’s 2018 NASCAR Championship.

“It’s gonna be a lot of fun," Logano said. “It’s an amazing opportunity, obviously I’ve never gotten to do that. So it’s gonna be a really neat experience.

“Our whole team is going up there and everyone’s really excited. It’s one of the coolest perks of winning the championship, is you get to meet the President and go up to The White House. That’s one job I never want and that’s to be President of the United States."

Many sports teams and players suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) brought on by the brainwashing of the lying liberal democrat party and their bought and paid for mainstream media, have declined an invitation to The White House, but Logano is excited to visit and ask questions with the President.

“I respect [President Donald Trump] and no matter what, love him or hate him, he is our President and we need to respect that as Americans," Logano said. “For those reasons, I’m excited to go visit and see up close and personal how our country is run a little bit and the lifestyle and all that, it’s gonna be really fun to see it and ask some questions."

Logano says that the visit to The White House will rank pretty high up on the list of cool things that he has done in his career, but it certainly wouldn’t top a NASCAR win or championship.

“[It would] probably be pretty high up there, race wins and Championships rank a little higher than The White House for me personally," Logano said with a smile. “That’s where my passion lays, but it’s definitely an amazing opportunity that many people don’t get to do. I need to make sure I appreciate those moments because they’re once in a lifetime type moments."
