A worried Zak Brown |
Things do not look good for the hapless McLaren IndyCar team after Fernando Alonso was 5th quick (last) before the rains hit the Indy track this morning.
Alonso had to cut short his runs after trying a new setup that resulted in the car bottoming out on the track. Clearly the McLaren team is lost and there is a very good chance they and Alonso are not going to be fast enough to qualify for the Indy 500 unless they pull a rabbit out of their hat.
