Indy 500 Qualifying TV Ratings

NBC earned a 0.8 overnight rating for rain delay coverage of yesterday's Indy 500 qualifying session, while NBCSN later earned a 0.4 overnight for the actual on-track action once the rain stopped.

The final rating will probably be lower than the overnight, which is usually the case for IndyCar.

Those ratings are down 20% and 60% from last year when ABC got a 1.0 overnight and a 0.89 final with over 1.3 million viewers tuned in. More…

On Saturday NBCSN earned a 0.3 overnight rating for the final hour of Indy 500 qualifying, down 62.5% from last year on ABC.

Last year ABC delivered IndyCar a 0.8 overnight rating for Saturday's action.
