Jakes to DCR (Update)

UPDATE Our 2014 IndyCar Silly Season page has been updated with this news.

01/14/14 According to this Racer.com article, James Jakes could be close to signing with Dale Coyne Racing. Jakes, of course, ran for DCR in 2011 and 2012, before spending 2013 with Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing.

While Jakes did mention that sports cars were a possibility, he noted that he anticipated an offer from Coyne in the next week or two.

For now, we'll rate Jakes to DCR as speculation.
