McLaren eye Jenson Button, Valtteri Bottas swap
McLaren could be ready to swap Jenson Button for promising Williams driver Valtteri Bottas for the 2015 season, according to reports.
Richland F1 claims that the Woking-based constructor may look to shake up their lineup for next year as they reunite with Japanese engine manufacturer Honda, with whom they won multiple world titles in the 1980s and 1990s.
Names such as Fernando Alonso, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton have been linked with a move to the British team, but it is thought that a lack of budget may rule out a move for those.
However, an up-and-coming driver such as Bottas is said to fit McLaren's criteria for recruitment, with Button widely rumored to be on his way out after five seasons with the team.
McLaren are currently sixth in the constructors' rankings.
