IndyCar Iowa race to be Saturday June 20?

Expect the 2015 Verizon IndyCar Series race at Iowa Speedway to be Saturday evening June 20th. According to Iowa Speedway President Jimmy Small, the IndyCars are likely going to share a date again with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. And the Trucks are scheduled to run the 7/8-mile banked oval in Newton, Iowa on Friday evening June 19th. So expect the Iowa Corn Indy Presented by DEKALB to be run the following Saturday evening.

It will be the ninth time the IndyCar Series has raced at Iowa Speedway. In 2014, Ryan Hunter-Reay took victory, with Josef Newgarden second and Tony Kanaan third.
