French GP attendance down
Paul Ricard |
This year's French Grand Prix went off without all the traffic troubles that were seen last year and for a second event it did pretty well, with a crowd of 135,000 over three days, compared to last year's 160,000.
The fans were treated to good racing in Formula 2 and Formula 3 but the Formula 1 race was the typical boring parade with Mercedes again running 1-2 and unchallenged, just the way the F1 race stewards want it. It's imperative that Lewis Hamilton, a Brit, break Michael Schumacher's (a German) record win total so the Brits can claim they are the best.
