Formula E will make a profit for the first time next season despite its "biggest ever marketing spend," circuit Founder & CEO Alejandro Agag announced on Thursday.

The all-electric motor racing series posted losses of $29M last season, its fourth, after losing $24M a year earlier. The 13-race season ends in N.Y. next month.

Formula E has attracted a list of major car makers, with Mercedes and Porsche set to enter the six season starting in December. REUTERS
