Pagenaud to drive Corvette (Update)

UPDATE AR1.com sources have confirmed Pagenaud will drive the Corvette so this rumor is upgraded to 'fact' today.

12/30/14 Rumor has it according to RACER magazine that Verizon IndyCar Series star Simon Pagenaud will likely drive front-engined Corvette C7.R at the Rolex 24 at Daytona and 12 Hours of Sebring.

It's believed Pagenaud’s new alliance with General Motors (he will drive Roger Penske's Chevy powered IndyCars) has opened the door to join Corvette Racing for the first two rounds of the Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup.
