Scott Speed to test Andretti IndyCar

Scott Speed tweeted this photo of him getting a seat fitting in the Andretti Autosport IndyCar of Carlos Munoz. Speed races for the team's VWs in the Red Bull Global Rallycross.

He also was having the seat fitting in preparation for a possible IndyCar test.

A team spokesperson told NBC sports, no date has been set yet for a test. However, the spokesperson confirmed Andretti may use Speed for a test if a conflict arises for one of its full-time drivers. Generally speaking for conflicts, the team would prefer to keep testing in-house among its drivers.
