Window World to sponsor Daly?

AR1 thinks Conor Daly's Indy 500 car might look like a DW12/Honda Aero Kit version of this

AutoRacing1 heard through the grapevine that we would know the sponsor for Conor Daly's Indy 500 effort with Schmidt Peterson Motorsports announced earlier today, by the number of his car. Well, the number 43 in racing certainly calls to mind images of the STP car driven for many years by NASCAR legend Richard Petty. But we don't believe the sponsor will be STP.

Rather, our information suggests Daly is likely to be backed by Window World, a leader in outdoor home remodeling products. The North Wilkesboro, NC based company of course sponsored John Andretti in three straight Indy 500s from 2009-2011, with Richard Petty Motorsports partnering Dreyer & Reinbold Racing in 2009, then Andretti Autosport in 2010 and 2011 to field the entry.

Window World has also been a longtime supporter of John Andretti's son Jarett, a USAC midget and sprint car driver. And AR1 believes we should hear soon that they will be supporting young Daly's Indy 500 effort come May.
