Late start for F1 plays right into the hands of IndyCar
With the leaked rumor that F1 won't start its 2016 season until April and with AR1.com maintaining for the past 10 years that IndyCar must start their season in January if they are to end it by Labor Day, 2016 could turn out to be the year IndyCar makes hay. If they start in January, IndyCar will have no open-wheel competition for three whole months early in the year. Racing fans, and especially open wheel racing fans and media are starved for content at that time of year and IndyCar could make hay while the sun shines.
