USAF 55th Wing to Perform Military Flyover for the XFINITY Road America race

Road America proudly welcomes the United States Air Force 55th Wing for a military flyover during the pre-race ceremonies for the NASCAR XFINITY CTECH Manufacturing 180 on August 24. Aircrew from the 55th Wing, based out of Offutt AFB, in Nebraska, will fly an RC-135V/W Rivet Joint reconnaissance aircraft across the sky to honor our country during the National Anthem.

"The flyover is one of the most memorable moments of race weekend, and we are honored to welcome the USAF 55th Wing," said Road America President and General Manager, Mike Kertscher. "We are grateful to the service members who serve in our military, and we look forward to welcoming these brave aircrew to America's National Park of Speed."

The NASCAR XFINITY Series CTECH Manufacturing 180 weekend will feature incredible wheel-to-wheel and door-to-door racing from the NASCAR XFINITY Series, Stadium Super Truck Series presented by Menards, the SCCA Pro Trans Am Series and open-wheel fans will enjoy the F3 America's Championship Series. Race fans will have the opportunity to watch some of motorsport's future stars as they test their skills on the storied 4-mile, 14-turn road circuit. Road America has a legendary history of featuring brilliant racers on a challenging circuit that easily separates the good from the great drivers.

In Person: Visit the Main Gate off of State Highway 67

Anyone 16-years-old and under are always FREE with a paying adult at the gate.

Any student can show their ID at the gate and get $10 off the ticket price.

There will be karting all weekend at the CTECH Manufacturing Motorplex, Pace Car Rides on Friday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., a Family Fun Zone in Turn 1 on Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Road America's Disc Golf Course will be open all weekend.

Gates will open to the public each day at 7 a.m.

All races will run rain or shine.
