Henry Repeating Arms Becomes Title Sponsor for 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Race at Road America
Road America and Henry Repeating Arms have reached an agreement naming Henry Repeating Arms as the title sponsor of the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series race at America's National Park of Speed. The event will be called the Henry 180, held August 8, 2020, on the world-renowned 4-mile, 14-turn road course.
"We are very pleased to announce this new entitlement and we are proud to be associated with a local company as involved and committed to both racing and Road America as Henry Repeating Arms," said Mike Kertscher, President and General Manager of Road America. "America's National Park of Speed has quickly become a premier destination for fans and families the world over and we look forward to entertaining Henry Repeating Arms' fans and employees here at Road America."
This entitlement marks Henry Repeating Arms' continued involvement with Road America. Henry Repeating Arms is already a landmark sponsor of Road America's famed Turn 10 bridge – now appropriately named the Henry Rifles Bridge.
Henry Repeating Arms, headquartered out of Bayonne, New Jersey, with a large manufacturing facility in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, is the leading lever action firearm manufacturer and one of the top-five long gun manufacturers in the USA.
"All of us at Henry Repeating Arms are excited to expand our presence with a race entitlement at Road America. Racing fans in the upper-Midwest are very brand-loyal outdoor enthusiasts, and the Henry Repeating Arms brand fits perfectly with their interests and passions at our home track in Wisconsin," said Anthony Imperato, President of Henry Repeating Arms. "We are also proud to announce that the pole winner for the Henry 180 and the event winner will each walk away with a new Henry rifle for their accomplishments."
Along with over 500 events held seasonally at the 640-acre facility, ten major weekends are open to the public, which include the NTT IndyCar Series REV Group Grand Prix, the MotoAmerica Series, three vintage racing events, numerous Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) events, the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, and the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
