Running 25th out of 26 cars, the IndyCar drivers are finally getting a little quicker having a lot of race laps under the belt now. Now they are only 2.1-seconds per lap slower than the leaders.
Progress, but still getting schooled.

The leading #17 Penske Ford will be lapping the IndyCar drivers in 2 to 3 laps. Unless there is a caution, that won't be the only lap the IndyCar regulars go down as they continue to get schooled running 24th out of 26 cars.
