Twitch To Carry Mexico F1 Grand Prix In Six European Countries

F1 will broadcast the Mexican GP weekend concluding on Sunday on entertainment platform Twitch as part of an "attempt to attract new audiences."

All sessions from Friday-Sunday will be shown "free of charge" in Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway and Sweden on Twitch's main twitch.tv website and mobile app.

As well as the broadcast, "new interactive and gaming elements will be added — including one where users will be able to predict the performance of drivers during 10-minute segments of the race" AUTOSPORT

The deal is for the Mexican GP but only, if it proves to be a success, it could be "rolled out for other events in the future."
