BHA to run 2nd entry at Indy?

The website MarottiRacing.com mentions that Marotti Racing intends to field a car in conjunction with Bryan Herta Autosport for this coming May's 100th Indianapolis 500 Presented by PennGrade Motor Oil. The site has a picture of a red, white and black liveried IndyCar sporting the No. 82 with Honda, Firestone and Marotti Racing decals. It appears to have a crowd-funding element as there is a link for which people can donate to Fisher House, a charity for veterans.

We're not sure of the viability of this effort, as we did not see Marotti Racing listed as a partner on the BHA website and we don't recall a press release of any kind mentioning the effort.

Of course, Mark Miles did tell AR1's Lucille Dust yesterday that he expected 34-35 entries for the 500. Our math currently has the count at 28 officially confirmations, 29 if you count Lazier Partners Racing which mentioned their intent to run again, although no confirmation. So, the remaining 5-6 cars will need to come from somewhere. We'll see what materializes from this Marotti Racing entry.
