IndyCar to eliminate Butt Bumpers?

No hideous Butt Bumpers

It appears IndyCar is considering elimination of ugly Butt Bumpers on the back of their cars.

As seen to the right, JR Hildebrand is testing at Mid-Ohio without the Butt Bumpers and the car looks so much better.

IndyCar is trying to finalize the aero package for 2017, but more likely 2018 if time runs out for next year.
