Penske to return to 4 fulltime IndyCars in 2019

Is Roger looking to add another top driver in 2019?

Rumor on the street is that Roger Penske may return to four fulltime IndyCars in 2019. The rumors say it will be one of the following drivers:

• Fernando Alonso who wants to be with a top team and that means Penske for Chevy or Andretti for Honda. Penske the billionaire can afford to pay Alonso the largest salary of any team
• Scott Dixon if Chip Ganassi doesn't have a sponsor for Dixon next year, but only if Chip gives Roger the OK because Roger would never steal his friends best driver otherwise
• Robert Wickens who has run well on both ovals and road courses as a rookie. Roger would love to steal one of Honda's ace drivers
• Alexander Rossi who fits the Penske mold for 1) speed on all types of circuits and 2) professionalism. Again Penske has the deep pockets to make Rossi the most lucrative deal and he would love to steal one of Honda's ace drivers
