Indy Speedway to announce Penngrade replacement for 500 (Update)

UPDATE This rumor is upgraded to 'fact' with today's announcement that Financial Services Brand Gainbridge was Named Indy 500 Presenting Sponsor. The deal includes signage and hospitality, and Gainbridge will purchase a season-long media buy with NBC Sports for advertising during IndyCar races.

The Gainbridge brand is new and was launched last week by parent company Group 1001, an Indianapolis-based insurance company that has four brands. Group 1001 also sponsors the Andretti Autosport #26 car driven by Zach Veach.
