TV News: Weekend USA Motorsports TV Ratings, F1 up big

Sunday’s F1 Saudi Arabian GP on ESPN on Easter Sunday attracted 1.5 million avg. viewers, up 63% from 920,000 viewers for the 2024 TV Rating

The race, won by Oscar Piastri over Max Verstappen, peaked at 1.7 million viewers. The viewership was the 2nd largest event audience on record.

The race attracted 579K viewers in the all important 18-49 year old age group.

NASCAR TV Rating

The CW got 1.053 million viewers for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Rockingham, meaning all 10 of the opening events of the season topped 1 million.

It’s the second best viewership for an Xfinity race at Rockingham.

• First time since 2017 that the first 10 races of the year have hit over 1 million total viewers
