TV News: Record USA TV ratings for F1 Australian GP – up 103%

F1‘s 75th anniversary season is off to a strong start! Not only was the Australian GP a record breaker in Australia, in the USA ESPN drew and event record 1.1M avg. viewers between midnight and 2:00am in the morning to watch the battle between the two McLaren drivers and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen.

It was the largest USA Australian GP TV audience on record (previous record 659K/2019), Up 103.3% from 541K in 2024 on ESPN2.

The USA TV Audience peaked during the 12:15-12:30am quarter hour, reaching 1.3M viewers.

The race around the Albert Park Circuit drew 560K avg. viewers in the all important 18-49 age group.
