Jill Gregory, a former NASCAR vice president and marketing officer who also ran Sonoma Raceway, was named chief operating officer of a subsidiary of TWG and president of Andretti Global.

Team News: TWG Motorsports Announces Jill Gregory as COO

TWG Motorsports today announces the hiring of veteran motorsports executive Jill Gregory as chief operating officer (COO). Today’s announcement comes after TWG Motorsports officially launched yesterday as the motorsports division of TWG Global.

TWG Motorsports‘ teams currently compete across all major motorsports endeavors, including Formula E, INDYCAR, INDY NXT, IMSA and NASCAR, with the aim of challenging at the very top of the sport. TWG Motorsports has also partnered with GM in building the Cadillac Formula 1 team while Spire Motorsports, Wayne Taylor Racing and Andretti Global already operate within the organization’s motorsports portfolio.

In this new role, Gregory will be responsible for the company’s day-to-day business activities, working closely with existing leadership from each race team to bring forth the holistic vision of TWG Motorsports, aligning on-track performance with commercial success. Her role will also be instrumental in fostering the relationship with GM as the partnership works to bring forward the Cadillac Formula 1 team effort, and the GM Performance Power Unit Company. Additionally, Gregory will serve as president of Andretti Global.

Gregory is an acclaimed sports marketer and motorsports executive who previously served as executive vice president and general manager at Sonoma Raceway and executive vice president and chief marketing and content officer at NASCAR. She has also held pivotal roles leading sports investment efforts for brands like Bank of America, Sprint and VISA. During her tenure at NASCAR, Gregory revamped the organization’s marketing, content and fan development strategies to elevate strategic planning and enhance collaboration across the industry. She was twice named by Adweek one of “The Most Powerful Women in Sports’’ and is part of the FIA Women in Motorsports Commission.
