TV News: Weekend USA Motorsports TV Ratings
TV Rating Analysis: The only major race series still in action is Formula 1 in Las Vegas where George Russell won the race and Max Verstappen wrapped up his 4th straight World Driving Title on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.
The Las Vegas Grand Prix on ESPN drew 905K average viewers at 1 a.m. ET on Sunday, Nov. 24– telecast window 1-3 a.m.
The telecast peaked at 1.1M viewers from 1-1:15 a.m. ET when half the country was already in bed which of course impacted the TV rating.
The 2024 F1 season is averaging 1.08M viewers across ESPN, ESPN2 and ABC (down from 2023 full season average of 1.11M).
F1 qualifying on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 1 a.m. ET averaged 581K viewers
