Formula 1 News: Colapinto cleared to race in Las Vegas GP

Following Franco Colapinto’s incident in Qualifying yesterday, he has undergone a thorough follow-up evaluation from the event medical team today and has been cleared to race in this evening’s Las Vegas Grand Prix on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit.

Colapinto’s health as the Williams team’s main priority, and they were relieved that he is well enough to race following such a significant incident.

The team thanked the medical staff for prioritizing Colapinto’s health and wellbeing and for the excellent care he received.

They are extremely thankful to their incredible garage team for their hard work overnight to repair Franco’s car and the fans and partners for their continued support.

The team has taken the opportunity to make some set-up changes during the repair and, as a result, Colapinto will start the race from the pitlane.
