Formula 1 Rumor: F1 planning joint car launch for 75th anniversary

Rumor has it that F1 is planning to have one big car launch event in February 2025 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Formula 1.

The event will supposedly take place in the O2 Arena in London, and F1 is targeting a large audience, with tickets being available to the public.

The rumor goes on to say that the car launch event will be broadcast on F1 TV and possibly YouTube.

Giving fans access to the car launches has been overdue for a while, and branding it as a kind of season kick-off could be a very interesting move, writes one F1 fan.

At this point, take it with a grain of salt because this was proposed a number of years ago, before Covid and the teams rejected it – who wants their competitors stiffing around their secret new car design at a joint car launch event?
