Hamilton knows if he races alongside Verstappen, Verstappen will destroy him and his marketing image

F1 News: Your view of Verstappen’s dominance depends on…..

Fans of Formula 1 have complained that Red Bull driver Max Verstappen’s dominance ruined the world championship this year.

If you live in the Netherlands, 2022 and 2023 were probably fantastic F1 seasons – getting to watch your favorite driver dominate.

If you are a fan of any F1 driver not named Verstappen, 2022 and 2023 were frustrating years.

Fans typically think their favorite driver is the most talented.

Having that false ideology balloon busted watching Verstappen school your favorite driver weekly, for two years running, has to be disappointing.

Whether it was wet or dry, hot or cold, slow track or fast, day race or night, Max showed that he has sharpened his skill and experience to the point he is almost impossible to beat.

His teammate, Sergio Perez, could not do with the Red Bull car what Verstappen could do.

Verstappen is just on another level.

As an example, Flavio Briatore thought watching Verstappen, was disappointing.

Speaking to Autosprint the Italian was quick to praise the 26-year-old driver before admitting he made the year’s racing much less exciting.

Briatore is no stranger when it comes to dominating Formula 1 during his time with Renault.

His partnership with Fernando Alonso saw the Spaniard win back-to-back titles in 2005 and 2006 before Alonso signed for McLaren the following year.

However, Max Verstappen’s control over the championship this year was unprecedented and Briatore was not a fan.

While the 73-year-old could appreciate his talents, he didn’t think it was good for the sport that one driver could win so many races.

“The Red Bull team is extremely strong and Max Verstappen is doing nothing wrong.

“He is an extraordinary driver. Max Verstappen is really one with his car, especially when we consider that Sergio Pérez has the same car. You really see the difference with Verstappen, who does extraordinary things.

“Unfortunately, Max Verstappen ruined the world championship a bit. I hope there will be more excitement next year, otherwise, it won’t be fun anymore.

“But Red Bull has an advantage that I think is difficult to undo at the moment.”

Wrong!!!

Verstappen has as advantage, not Red Bull.  The Red Bull in the hands of any other driver, is not the best car.  Perez proves that.
