F1 News: Event Statistics – 2023 attendance exceeds 6 million!
Below is our table of F1 event statistics, updated for 2024. Over 6.15 million people, a record, came through the turnstiles to see Formula 1 in 2023.

This dwarfs all other motorsports series in the world, including NASCAR. NASCAR has more races, but they only get big crowds on race day, whereas F1 races attract big crowds all three weekend event days.
Fans are attracted to the premier motorsports series in the world, and they are willing to pay huge ticket prices for the privilege.
The 2023 season promised the most jam-packed calendar any Formula 1 campaign has ever seen, with a total of 23 races on the line-up, but Imola was rained out, so only 22 races were actually held.
2024 will see the addition of two additional races, and we could see another new attendance record.
