Hunter-Reay crashes at Texas

Hunter-Reay hits wall

Andretti Autosport veteran Ryan Hunter-Reay got up into the marbles on the exit of Turn 2 and hit the Safer Barrier wall during practice for tonight's Genesys 300 Indycar race at Texas Motor Speedway with 45-minutes to go in the 2-hour practice.

The hit was not hard and the team should be able to fix the car in time for tonight's race.

Hunter-Reay was not injured but his right front and right rear suspensions will need to be replaced as well as bodywork.
