William Byron will start the Verizon 200 NASCAR Cup race at the Brickyard on Sunday at the rear of the field after failing pre-race inspection 3 times.

• Has lost pit selection for this event.
• Will not be permitted to qualify.
• Will start event at tail of field.
• Will serve a pass thru penalty after taking the green flag.
