WEC: Car ends up in grandstand at Portimao

A car managed to land into the Turn 1 grandstand at Portimao during practice for one of the support categories for the World Endurance Championship.

The Porsche Sprint Challenge Iberica is supporting the sportscar championship this weekend, but was halted after Alexandre Areia crashed over the barriers.

A video shows the car leaving the circuit at high speed, crashing into the tire barrier and then flipping over the debris fence and into the spectator area.
