Formula E: Series eyes 3 new races for 2024

Formula E races come and go, as most are a financial bloodbath due to lack of fan interest.

A few do draw a good crowd, such as Mexico City, but we hear that most attendees are there on a free handout from one sponsor or another.

A race in June at the site of the Portland Raceway Circuit in Oregon will take place, but is likely to be a one-off stop-gap race on a modified version of the IndyCar track.

Hence, the series is continually looking for new races to add to the schedule as others fall away.

Tokyo, Los Angeles and Toronto are the latest venues being targeted for the 2023/2024 season.
