F1: Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake adds minor sponsor
A new partner joins Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake at the dawn of the 2023 Formula One season, as the team welcomes onboard Corinthian Re, a specialty collateralized reinsurance company that is a subsidiary of The Corinthian Group. The deal will bring together two outfits based on a common aim for efficiency, as well as for delivering innovative solutions in their respective fields.
Founded in 2012, Corinthian Re operates as the main reinsurance vehicle of The Corinthian Group. Corinthian Re and its affiliated companies’ primary focus is on the efficient and effective delivery of third-party capital to the insurance and reinsurance markets. The group utilizes bespoke structuring to provide these solutions through insurance-linked-securities (ILS) in property and causality lines of business. Corinthian Re works to provide investors with a broad range of highly diversified risks in a non-correlated asset class.
As part of the partnership, Corinthian Re’s logo will be displayed on the rear wing end plates of Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake’s 2023 challenger, the C43, as well as on Valtteri Bottas’s and Zhou Guanyu’s helmets.
Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Managing Director of Sauber Group and Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake Representative: “We are delighted to have Corinthian Re onboard with Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake, as we prepare for a record-breaking 2023 Formula One season. Our partnership is based on the common grounds of a constant effort for efficiency, as well as dedication to bring the newest innovations to life through the vast experiences in our respective fields. It is a pleasure to give Corinthian Re our warmest welcome, and to bring them on track with us during this season’s race weekends.”
Cameron Collins, Director of Business Development: “Corinthian Re is proud to partner with Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake, as we look to broaden our presence in the European, Asian, and Australian markets. Teaming up with iconic motorsport brands like Sauber and Alfa Romeo will expand Corinthian’s global presence and facilitate growth opportunities unique to the Formula 1 world.”
