F1: Hamilton and Verstappen are neighbors in Monaco

Not everyone knows that F1 World Driving Champion Max Verstappen lives close to his arch-rival in F1 Lewis Hamilton, with the pair both in the Fontvieille district of Monaco.

The double world champion chooses to rent an apartment, suggesting he doesn’t intend on remaining in the Principality forever. Not much is known about the inside of Verstappen’s house, but he regularly posts images of him working out.

Photos show he has a purpose-built indoor gym while he also likes to train on this balcony with the incredible views of the Mediterranean. Verstappen has even been photographed riding jet skis in the Monaco harbor.

Not Enemies at All

While everyone might think that Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen hate each other, on the contrary, while not best buddies who hang out together, they have mutual respect for one another.

It is the hysterical media that makes them out to be enemies.

“He did everything he had to do in 2021, so why should I have a problem with him,” said Hamilton.

“He performed and delivered every weekend, nobody can take that away from him.

“People like to talk about there being problems between Max and me, but I respect him.”
