F1 announces it will not replace Chinese GP in 2023

Formula 1 confirmed today that the 2023 season will consist of 23 races and the cancelled Chinese GP will remain cancelled.

That leaves a massive 4-week gap in the 2023 schedule between Australia on April 2nd and Baku on April 30th.

That means the season will kick off with the Bahrain Grand Prix on March 5, and finish up in Abu Dhabi on November 26, with the brand new Las Vegas Grand Prix joining the calendar a week before the season finale.
