NASCAR: Goodyear to test 2023 tires at COTA

NASCAR Cup Series drivers #8-Kyle Busch of Richard Childress Racing, #45-Tyler Reddick of 23XI Racing and #2-Austin Cindric of Team Penske will participate in a Goodyear Tire Test Monday, January 16 at Circuit of the Americas outside Austin, Texas.

This is the first on-track test for NASCAR in 2023 and also the on-track debuts of Busch and Reddick with their new organizations. Busch joins Richard Childress Racing in the No. 8 Chevrolet after 15 seasons driving for Joe Gibbs Racing. Reddick moves over to the No. 45 Toyota at 23XI Racing after three full Cup seasons with RCR in the No. 8 that Busch now inherits.

Circuit of The Americas will play host March 24-26 to a NASCAR tripleheader for the third consecutive year. The weekend will include a doubleheader on Saturday, March 25, with the CRAFTSMAN Trucks Series XPEL 225 (12:30 p.m. CT) followed by the Xfinity Series 250 race (4 p.m.). The three-day NASCAR at COTA event culminates with the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix NASCAR Cup Series race on Sunday, March 26 at 2:30 p.m.
