Rating Analysis
NASCAR TV ratings for their big championship race weekend at Phoenix were down across the board.
NBC earned a 1.86 rating and 3.213 million viewers for Sunday’s NASCAR championship, compared to a 1.95 rating and 3.214 million viewers last year – down only 0.03%, though the rating was down 4.62%. Only 18% of the viewers were in the all-important 19-49 year old age bracket.
The USA Network earned a 0.58 rating and 0.994 million viewers for Saturday’s NASCAR Xfinity race, compared to a 0.60 rating and 1.013 million viewers last year – down 1.88%.
FS1 earned a 0.25 rating and 0.408 million viewers for Friday’s NASCAR Truck race, compared to a 0.30 rating and 0.437 million viewers last year – down 6.64%.
